This is the formal instruction for the unit. It is recommended that teachers scaffold student learning and demonstrate the concepts covered in the Learn document through a teacher sample site to provide students multiple ways to understand the material. Teachers can use this as a guide for demonstrating new concepts to the class, and prompt tactile learners to follow along on their student sites. This document can also be distributed to students to serve as a resource while they work and help absent students catch up on missed instruction.

The key assignment within each unit. It builds upon the independent learning from the Explore assignment and requires students to show mastery of the skills covered in the formal instruction from the Learn materials. This is where students will be adding to their personal websites and taking ownership of the unit material by applying it in a unique way to their websites. Students are encouraged to use the Explore and Learn

Prompts students to reflect on their learning within the unit. It incorporates peer feedback and an analysis of the feedback provided from “users” on the site. Teachers are encouraged to provide feedback as well. Teachers can also allow time for revisions to the Create assignment, where that serves as a rough draft and the final grade is awarded once students have had the chance to review feedback from other users and make changes based on peer and teacher suggestions.
